Josh Charles: Baltimore Ravens & Maryland Sports Fan

Josh Charles, star of the hit CBS drama The Good Wife, joined Kelly & Michael to discuss the show’s current season. But first, Michael congratulated Josh on the Baltimore Ravens’ Super Bowl Championship, because the Ravens are his hometown team. Josh even attended the Super Bowl to see his team’s big win in person.

Josh is a big fan of all sports, especially the Orioles and other Maryland teams. He even follows high school teams and recently attended a state championship game. One thing Josh will never do, though, is paint his face for a game. That’s where he draws the line.

Josh Charles: Dog Zeus Hat Photo

Kelly & Michael shared a photo from Twitter of Josh’s dog, Zeus, sitting on top of his head as a hat. Josh said that Zeus is a Havanese and his very first dog ever. Zeus is very cute, but unlike his name suggests, is only about eight pounds.

Josh Charles: The Good Wife Season Four

Josh discussed the latest development on the current fourth season of The Good Wife, where he stars as Stern, Lockhart & Gardner partner Will Gardner. The firm just came out of bankruptcy, and Josh explained that the characters are now facing the concept of “be careful what you wish for.” There’s a lot of fighting and politics going on inside the firm.

Kelly & Michael wondered if Josh feels smarter now that he plays a lawyer on TV. Josh laughed and said that he wouldn’t exactly be in a position to give anyone legal advice.

Josh Charles: Just Joshin’ Game

Finally, the hosts and Josh played a game of “Just Joshin,” where Josh identified other famous Josh’s. He had no problem with Josh Duhamel (“he’s married to Fergie”), Josh Halloway (“he starred on Lost“) and Josh Brolin (“he’s married to Diane Lane,”) but he was stumped by clues on Josh Groban and Josh Radnor. When he identified the last famous Josh – himself – he won the coveted Live! Golden Mug.
