Jennifer Love Hewitt: Growing Up On TV

Jennifer Love Hewitt, star of The Client List, stopped by Live! for the first time in a long while. She does see Kelly and Michael every day, but only through her television, just like you and me!

The first time Jennifer appeared on the show, she was 17 and promoting Party of Five. Jennifer cringed at the clip of her teenaged self (looking so 1990s in a babydoll t-shirt). She admitted that “it’s awful” growing up on TV. It must be like the whole world having access to your embarrassing, awkward photos.

Jennifer never went to normal school, because she was a child star from a very young age. Instead, she was home-schooled and then tutored on set. The idea of high school really excites her but only because she’s never experienced it. As Kelly pointed out, no one who actually lived through high school wants to re-visit those memories!

Jennifer Love Hewitt: 34th Birthday

Now, Jennifer is all grown up and a show business veteran at the age of 34. She recently turned 34 on February 21 and celebrated the occasion with family. Her brother, sister-in-law and two-year-old niece surprised her with a birthday party. Her best present was that her niece ate her birthday cupcake.

Jennifer Love Hewitt: “I Am Woman” Video & The Client List Season 2

In order to promote the second season of The Client List, Jennifer filmed a music video and covered the song “I Am Woman.” The video was produced by Randy Jackson and was based on a dream that Jennifer had. “That’s a dream that a lot of guys have had!” Michael said.

The Client List is about to begin its second season on Lifetime, and the show is based on a TV movie of the same name. When Jennifer was nominated for a Golden Globe for her performance, she had the idea to create a television series. She and her manager pitched the series to Lifetime, and the rest is history!

Catch the season premiere of The Client List on Sunday, March 10 2013 at 10 p.m. on Lifetime.
