Kelly and Michael: Denzel Washington

Denzel Washington is heading back to Broadway for a revival of A Raisin in the Sun, and the Live audience could not have been more excited to see the actor, who hung out on Kelly and Michael’s faux-Miami set.

Washington is taking on the role made famous by Sidney Poitier, and the two of them have been collaborating as Denzel prepares for this Broadway performance. Sidney told him that he acts “extra old” when shopping at Whole Foods to get some extra help from the lovely ladies, which he is a tad territorial about. That’s a clever idea.
