Kelly Ripa: Academy Awards Dress

After Jennifer Hudson won her Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress, she found out that she had been named “Worst Dressed” of the night. That’s why it’s so important to make the right fashion choices! Kelly & Michael’s pre-Oscar celebration continued with Kelly Ripa choosing her Oscar gown.

While we won’t see which dress Kelly chose until Sunday night, we did get to watch her try on some potential winners. I was particularly fond of the blue strapless dress; I wonder if she’ll pick it?! Tune in on Sunday for more on the Kelly Ripa Academy Awards dress.

Kelly Ripa went jewel shopping at Fred Leighton and chose her Oscar gown on Live’s pre-Oscar celebration.

Kelly Ripa: Fred Leighton Jewels

Of course, what’s an Oscar dress without the glamorous jewels? Kelly and her stylist, Faith, visited jeweler to the stars Fred Leighton. Kelly became the envy of every woman in America as she tried on priceless rings, earrings and necklaces. Kelly likened a visit to Fred Leighton to a visit to “an adult candy shop.”

Kelly Ripa: Academy Awards Shoes

Kelly can’t decide between two shoes for the Academy Awards: a pair of Charlotte Olympia platform heels and a pair of Nicholas Kirkwood black stilettos. Both are beautiful, but she only needs one pair. To share your thoughts on which shoes Kelly should pick, head to her Facebook page.

Girls Night Out: Oscar Edition

Later, the hosts caught up with the lovely winners of Live’s Girls Night Out: Oscar Edition. Sarah, Denise, Amy, Allison and Tracy – aka, the “P3 Pretties” – are a close-knit group of friends who support each other while their husbands are away and also all year round. These women are “like sisters” who treat each other like family.

Soon, the “P3 Pretties” will be parting ways as their husbands take on new assignments. The ladies wanted one special night to spend together before saying goodbye. They should have a total blast celebrating the Oscars together and creating incredible memories.

About the author

After my childhood dream of achieving Olympic figure skating gold fell through, I moved on to Plan B: become a writer. I've been writing since I can remember, and consider myself lucky to be making a career out of it. I graduated from Marymount Manhattan College in 2011, and since that time, I have worked as a writer, editor and blogger. Luckily for this site, my love of TV borders on obsession.
