Live With Kelly: Coast-to-Coast Co-Host Search

The “Live” Coast-to-Coast Co-Host Search is a competition in which one lucky fan will get the chance to sit next to Kelly for a day as guest co-host. Last week, the finalists were announced, and with today’s elimination of Rory Kramer from North Hollywood, CA, the finalists were down to four contenders.

On “Live with Kelly” July 16, the finalists competed in the first of the week’s challenges to determine a winner. All week long, the finalists will go head-to-head in a series of challenges. Then, it’s up to the studio audience and home audience (aka, YOU!) to vote for your favorite. On “Live With Kelly” July 17, the four remaining finalists were asked a series of questions in 60 seconds, in order to test their quick thinking. Let’s take a look at some of their answers:

1. Will Tant from New York, NY

The four remaining Coast-to-Coast Co-Host Finalists competed on "Live With Kelly."

Will answered all of his questions in lightning speed. We learned that he doesn’t have any tattoos, his favorite holiday is Christmas, and his inspiration comes from his community and his parents.

2. Michael Buckley from Meridan, CT

Michael Buckley was able to show off his vibrant personality, even in just one minute! He said that his favorite thing about himself is his joy, and his celebrity crush is Kelly Ripa AND Mark Consuelos.

3. Markette Smith from Washington D.C.

The bubbly Markette Smith took a while to answer her questions, but she finished just in the nick of time! She said that her favorite book is Charlotte’s Web, and her secret talent is that she can rap.

4. Mikey Kay from New York, NY

Finally, we heard from Mikey Kay, who revealed that Clint Eastwood is his dream interview, and “Jersey Shore” is his favorite reality show.
