Kelly & Michael: Live! Work Party At STK

Kelly admitted that her feet were killing her this morning on Live! after “throwing it down” at a work party last night. Michael, who hosted the party at STK, agreed that Kelly was like “a tornado” as soon as she walked in the door. In fact, Kelly danced so much and for so long, her pants were stretched out completely by the end of the night.

Michael thanked Celeste at STK and the live band, Renard, for providing the great tunes that kept everyone moving all night. Michael was happy that everyone had a good time. Even Gelman hit the dance floor (but only because his wife, Laurie, “warmed it up” for him first).

Kelly & Michael: Hostess Twinkie Saved & "Good Times" Movie Remake

Kelly & Michael discussed the new Good Times movie adaptation and the Hostess Twinkie.

Kelly & Michael: Hostess Twinkie Saved

Kelly & Michael were both happy to report that the Twinkie has been saved! I knew all the hoopla was for nothing! Hostess and Dolly Madison Baked Goods will be sold to two investment firms, Apollo Global Management and Metropolis & Co., for 410 million dollars.

Thankfully, we can look forward to enjoying the Twinkie for many years to come, because as Kelly said, “a Twinkie is happiness.” Plus, there are so many other delicious Hostess snacks too, including the cupcakes and the Zebra cakes. What are your favorite Hostess snacks?

Kelly & Michael: Good Times Movie Remake

Kelly & Michael both grew up watching Good Times, the popular CBS sitcom that ran for six seasons in the 1970s. When Michael mentioned the show, the theme song began to play, which both of the hosts sang and danced along to. They were definitely still in party mode!

There may be a big screen adaptation of Good Times in the works, and it’s been suggested that Michael portray Esther Rolle’s character, because they both have gap teeth. Kelly, who used to watch the show while snacking on her 70s TV dinners, plans on playing Janet Jackson’s character.

Apparently, once was not enough for singing and dancing to the Good Times theme song. Kelly & Michael played it not once, not twice, but three times during Host Chat.
