Late Show: Professional Racer Top 10
After a look at the disastrous weekend alternative to the Late Show, the top 10 list was presented by Indycar driver Graham Rahal.
David Letterman: Weekend Late Show
According to David Letterman, there used to be a Weekend Late Show that aired on Saturdays. Dave said it was awful and nobody watched it. But the replacement was even worse, according to the venerable TV host.
The format has supposedly be changed to an entertainment news show, which he said was “impossible to watch.” That must be why he threw to the hosts for a preview of Showbiz Weekend.
Late Show: Showbiz Weekend Review
The show promised to feature a conference call among three D-list celebrities celebrating birthdays, as well as highlights from a pro-am golf tournament. You’re right, this does sound awful.
Then there was Publicists’ Corner, a segment called “Celebrity CAT Scans,” and a quiz about celebrities who are allergic to nuts. Sadly, that sounds almost exactly like something you’d see on E! News or Access Hollywood.
Late Show: Top 10 Things You Don’t Want To Hear
The night’s top 10 list was about professional race car drivers. The category was Top 10 Things You Don’t Want To Hear Over Your Team Radio During A Race. To help lend a legitimacy to the proceedings, a professional racer was on hand.
David Letterman: Graham Rahal Top 10
The 2013 Indycar Series will kick off Sunday, March 24. Nahal won the race in 2010, and is expected to race again this year, along with teammate James Jakes. Nahal is the son of hall of fame racer Bobby Rahal.
