David Letterman: Top 10 Amish-Themed Television Shows
The Late Show revealed its Top 10 Amish-Themed Television Shows and Dave fielded a phone call from Hillary Clinton. Plus, Jesse Tyler Ferguson was Dave’s guest on this show.
Late Show: Secretary of State Hillary Clinton
Dave reached behind his desk and brought out his tan phone. That meant it was time for a ridiculous phone call gag. Who could it be this time?
Former New York Senator, two-term First Lady, and outgoing Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was on the phone with Dave, thanks to the magic of audio editing. “There’s a lot of things I can’t remember from yesterday,” she said during the bit.
She or the actress portraying her apparently watched the Academy Awards, and “had a good laugh the other night” at Jennifer Lawrence’s fall. She never trips in her pantsuits, as you can imagine.
What is next for her career trajectory? According to this gag, she will be “sliming fish.” Of course, the real question Dave was hinting at was whether Clinton would consider a presidential bid in 2016. But we may not get an answer to that in the near future.
Do you think Hillary Clinton will run for president once again in 2016?
