Late Night: Sounds Good Game
If you have ever been caught singing along to the music in your headphones, Jimmy Fallon has a gag for you, and it is called the Sounds Good game. Later on, Al Roker was a guest on the show.
Jimmy Fallon: Sounds Good Game
The night’s Sounds Good contestants were:
- Micah from Brooklyn
- Marco from New York
- Caroline from Houston
Each of the singers had to put on noise cancelling headphones to sing along to the music that played. But they would not be able to hear themselves.
Late Night: Sounds Good Game Pitch Changes
There was also a twist: a crazy sound guy would mess with the pitch during the songs, and the contestants would have to try to keep up. It would be up to the studio audience to judge the competition.
Jimmy Fallon: What Makes You Beautiful
First up was Michael, who had to sing the One Direction hit “What Makes You Beautiful.” I did not realize that we would not be able to hear the music, which meant that the brave singers were performing acapella on national TV.
Late Night: Since U Been Gone
Marco was the second contestant, and his song choice was Kelly Clarkson’s “Since U Been Gone.” It was hard to tell whether Marco could sing under normal conditions, but he definitely threw himself into the performance with everything he had.
Jimmy Fallon: Livin’ On A Prayer
Finally, it was Caroline’s turn to sing “Livin’ On A Prayer.” This sounds embarrassing, but I bet you could hear this game being played for free in any gym across the country. I don’t think there is enough beer in the world to get me to perform in these conditions.
Late Night: Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones Review
By an audience applause vote, Marco was the evening’s winner, and he received Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones. The runners up received Jimmy Fallon hoodies.
