Katie: Drew Barrymore
On March 28 2013, Katie Couric speaks with new mom and mogul Drew Barrymore. After a few rocky years, Drew has settled down with her dream man and they have a baby daughter. She’s starting her own cosmetics line.
Katie: Olive Kopelman & Finding Faith
Last year, Drew kept one of the biggest secrets in Hollywood. The paparazzi and media thought that Drew was pregnant and that she was getting married. She danced around the rumors in flowing blouses and dodged red carpets. Drew did marry and then a few months later, she gave birth to Olive. It all seemed to just appear out of thin air.
After her own rocky past and being in rehab in her tweens, Drew wants to be a better mom for Olive. She wants her to have the most normal life possible. Drew’s slowed her life down and is leaning on her new family. She said on The View that her husband’s family is Jewish and she’s accepting the faith as well.
Katie: Flower Beauty
Drew was the face of CoverGirl Lashblast when the mascara first launched. It was one of the biggest cosmetics launches in history. I can confidently say that I bought Lashblast the first week it was out because of Drew. She’s that fun, mature, confident woman that you want to be. She’s no longer a CoverGirl, but I’m still loyal to Lashblast. Maybe it’s because she was confident about the product, maybe it’s because I like Lashblast.
Now the other Drew Barrymore fans and I have a choice to make. We either stick with our cosmetics or go with Drew to her new line, Flower Beauty. She wanted to create a line that was affordable and the highest quality. It’s only available at Walmart. She used her knowledge from CoverGirl to develop her line.
Flower Beauty’s mascara is really smart. The wand turns with a click and lengthens and volumizes. No longer must we choose between volume and length. While I love Lashblast, I’m going to have to try some of Drew’s products.
