Backstreet Boys Perform on GMA

Boy band the Backstreet Boys performed live on Good Morning America for GMA’s Summer Concert Series. This was their first performance since Kevin Richardson rejoined the group. The band is working on a new album and planning a world tour.

Robin Roberts’ Mother Dies; Backstreet Boys Wear Roberts’ Wrist Bands

GMA anchor Robin Roberts’ mother, Lucimarian Tolliver Roberts, passed away last night at the age of 88. Robin made it home to Mississippi in time to say goodbye to her mother.

Roberts began her medical leave today in order to receive medical treatment for myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS). She will be getting a bone marrow donation from her sister, Sally-Ann.

Before the Backstreet Boys performed, a plane flew a banner that said “Light Love Power Presence – We Love You Robin!” over the crowd.

The Backstreet Boys also wore Robin’s Prayer for Protection wrist bands, in support of Roberts.
