GMA: Flight Attendants Criticize TSA Changes
Good Morning America reported March 6 2013 that flight attendants are mad about a new TSA rule change that will allow small pocketknives, in order for the TSA to focus on bigger threats. The new rule takes effect April 25 and would also allow hockey sticks, golf clubs and pool cues. Flight attendants say it’s an unnecessary risk.
GMA: Venezuela In Mourning For Hugo Chavez
In Venezuela, citizens have started seven days of mourning for leader Hugo Chavez. There doesn’t seem to be any sign of relations between the nation and the United States improving. Hugo Chavez’s handpicked successor threw out two U.S. military attaches last night, claiming they were trying to destabilize the army.
GMA: Mysterious Brush Fire Serial Killer Link
A mysterious brush fire was battled by firefighters early March 6 2013. Firefighters discovered two bodies in the fire. The location is not far from another beach where ten bodies from an alleged serial killer have been found. Speculation has begun as to whether there is a connection.

Agents in L.A. have seized a massive shipment of 1500 counterfeit Hermes bags that would have been sold for $14 million.
GMA: John Stewart Directing New Movie
The Daily Show host John Stewart will take a 12 week hiatus this summer to write, produce and direct a new movie called Rosewater based on a book by Maziar Bahari and Aimee Molloy called Then They Came for Me: A Family’s Story of Love, Captivity and Survival. The book is about Maziar Bahari’s jailing in Iran while trying to cover the elections. John Stewart has a personal connection to the story, because when Maziar Bahari was accused of spying, one of the things used against him was his appearance on The Daily Show. Daily Show correspondent John Oliver will be sitting in for John Stewart during his hiatus.
GMA: Taylor Swift vs. Amy Poehler & Tina Fey
Taylor Swift is speaking out about Amy Poehler and Tina Fey’s remarks about her during their hosting duties at the Golden Globes. Tina Fey said on stage that Taylor Swift should stay away from Michael J. Fox’s son, in reference to Taylor Swift’s often talked about love life, which she herself often writes songs about. Taylor Swift told Vanity Fair that Katie Couric once told her a good quote for times like these, “There is a special place in hell for women who don’t help other women.” Tina Fey responded by saying that if anyone was going to get mad, she thought it would be James Cameron, and did not see this one coming. Amy Poehler said she felt bad that Taylor Swift was upset, but that she thought she was going to hell, too, but for other reasons.
GMA: Moonwalking Pony Appears In Ad
The British telecom company Three launched a new ad online involving a moonwalking pony. The pony stopped moonwalking when a human drove by in a tractor. But it resumed again just as soon as he drove away. The moonwalking was done with CGI and the video already had three million hits by 8 a.m. the morning it was launched.
