GMA: Lara Spencer On The Daily Shot With Ali Wentworth
Lara Spencer went on The Daily Shot, the online Yahoo! show from Ali Wentworth, George Stephanopoulos’ wife. They played a game called Work Wife Versus Real Wife. In the game, they quizzed each other about facts about George. One of the scenes they showed had Ali Wentworth asking Lara Spencer which Broadway musical made him cry. The answer was “The Little Mermaid.”
After the scene, everyone looked to George, who got really defensive. “I was there with my three-year-old and she was moved as well,” George Stephanopoulos said. There was an awkward silence and then Lara Spencer joked that his daughter was crying because her dad was such a baby.
GMA: Zip-Up Ties Invented
Finally, an invention no one was looking for: the zip-up tie. The ties are made out of felt and have a zipper going completely down the front. You put it around your neck and zip it up. Josh Elliott joked it was made of the material that you find under the carpet in your basement. The ties are going for $65 and I think Robin Roberts’ shock and outrage at how ridiculously expensive such a weird product is pretty much summed up how everyone watching felt. Why would you want to wear these things?
