Good Morning America: Kate Middleton Baby Nursery
Good Morning America (GMA) reported that the royal couple, Prince William and Kate Middleton, don’t know if their soon-to-be-born child and heir to the throne will be a boy or a girl, but there have been some clues given as to how they will be decorating the nursery. Victoria Murphy, an ABC News royal contributor, said that Kate likes classic, clean, lines that give a very clean and elegant look, similar to the way that she dresses. Kate Middleton is preparing nurseries at both Kensington Palace and another at her family’s estate in the small English community of Bucklebury, where the Duchess will be spending time with her mother after the birth.
Kate Middleton’s Moses Basket
Items in Kate Middleton’s royal nursery will include a Moses Basket, which Kate and her mother were recently seen loading into a car. These baskets apparently go for around $500. Kate has also been seen shopping at chic London boutiques for throw pillows, drapes, and rugs, all in a particular shade of brown.
The Kate Stroller: Unisex Bugaboo Cameleon in Jeweled Blue with Stripes
Though Kate has been seen at these upscale boutiques, don’t expect her baby to be sporting any overly flashy baby gear. Despite this rejection of ritzy and glamorous baby gear, though, Kate did recently purchase a very stylish jewel blue and black and white striped Bugaboo Cameleon Stroller for her child. The unisex design of the buggy is ideal for Kate, since she has opted not to be told the gender of the baby before it is born.
Giggle Expects to Sell Out of the Kate Stroller
The items Kate has been purchasing are expecting to sell out, now that people know what they are (like the jewel blue and striped Bugaboo Cameleon Stroller). Managers at the high-end baby store Giggle said that things like the colors she picked and the products for the nursery are all bound to become massively popular.
