GMA: Kmart Ship My Pants Commercial
Kmart is encouraging everyone to ship their pants in their new commercial showing a number of people shipping their pants, shipping their drawers and even shipping their bed. While the new ad may sound like they are saying something other than ship, the ad is meant to let people know they are offering free shipping on any item not in the store. The ad, which will be hitting TV screens this week, has already garnered over 14 million hits on YouTube.
While some people have been “shipping” their pants over how funny the commercial is, not everyone is happy about it. One woman posted on Facebook saying stooping so low as to shooting commercials that are inappropriate for her children to watch is something that could lead to Kmart’s doors being shut for good after no customers want to shop there.
Sam Champion will still be shopping there. He couldn’t stop laughing at the commercial.
Jenna Marbles: Over One Billion YouTube Subscribers
Jenna Marbles could be called the “Queen of the Clicks” if she really wanted that nickname. Marbles is probably the most famous person you have never heard of. She has over a billion people subscribed to her YouTube page, she has more Instagram followers than Oprah and the whole idea of being an internet sensation is “ridiculous” to her.
It all started with her YouTube video about how women put on makeup. Since then, videos have chronicled the days of her life, rants about the obvious and a lot of videos making fun of Nicki Minaj.
“This is all ridiculous,” said Marbles of her fame. “Ridiculous people watch these ridiculous videos. The amount of people who find them entertaining is ridiculous.”
All the ridiculousness hasn’t come without some ridicule though. Parents are slamming her for the amount she talks about drinking and love making, but she said all that is just “baby stuff” compared to what else is on the internet. Bad news for all Jenna Marbles fans, though. While she does do a new video each week for her YouTube page, she has continually turned down TV and movie offers. Guess fans are going to have to continue watching her on the computer.
