GMA: Ashton Kutcher & Demi Moore Long Divorce
Larry Hackett, Managing Editor of People magazine, stopped by Good Morning America to take the hosts through the headlines ripped from People‘s cover, including one about Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore’s divorce. Hackett said that the divorce is taking a long time because of all of the money and property at stake. Lara Spencer brought up Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’ divorce, which happened over the course of 11 days. Hackett said that was different because there was less money at stake.
GMA: Jessica Simpson Reveals She’s Having a Boy
Larry Hackett joked that when Duchess Kate misspoke and possibly revealed she was having a girl, she meant to say what Jessica Simpson said in her interview with Jimmy Kimmel when she revealed she was having a boy. Jessica Simpson, for the record, said, “I never knew that a wiener could actually make me nauseous.” Hackett said he thought Jessica Simpson purposefully revealed this on the show in that way. Lara Spencer said she thought maybe she’d just told the joke a lot and it slipped out. Larry Hackett said he thought what Kate Middleton said was a mistake.

GMA: Are Manicures Causing Cancer?
Gel manicures can last for up to two weeks and are a dream come true for many women. But Chris Adigun, a dermatologist and NYU professor, said that women need to be aware of the risks. Nail thinning from the procedure and an increased risk of skin cancer from the UV lights uses to cure the polish are both concerns she said that women need to keep in mind when getting gel manicures. She said that the risk of skin cancer is really low, but women need to do the gel manicures in moderation. She suggested fingerless gloves or wearing sunscreen while getting the manicure.
GMA: Beauty Rescue Deals & Steals
GMA had plenty of deals and steals for their audience March 7 2013. All of these deals are available on GMA’s website. First up was the CoolWay hair care starter kit, which was 50 percent off at $65. For those women dealing with a few unsightly gray hairs, there was the TouchBack Root Touch-Up, which is a marker you can use right on your hair to color the gray hairs to match the rest of your hair. The color shampoos out. These were 50 percent off, as well, for only $15. Instead of gel manicures, if you’re pressed for time why not use the Incoco Nail Polish Applique?
