LeAnn Rimes Spitfire Review & Putting Emotion into Music
LeAnn Rimes’ new album Spitfire is about taking a stand against those that have speculated about her life. She said writing this album was extremely therapeutic.
“I went through every emotion you can imagine in the last four years,” Rimes said. During the good times and the bad, Rimes was the center of the media’s attention. Either for her struggles with weight, to her Twitter feud with Brandi Glanville, to marrying her new husband, Eddie Cibrian, Rimes has come through the storm and this album is the light at the end of the tunnel. She said that it’s her way of shutting up the media that use her to sell magazines.
Rimes said that this is the first time that people are going to get to know her. She let go and put it all out these. “People get to meet me on a different level,” she said.
LeAnn Rimes Twitter Feud & Connecting with Fans
While people have met her in the tabloids, LeAnn Rimes tries to share her true self on Twitter. While the feedback is not always good (see: Twitter feud with Brandi Glanville), Rimes just wants to share her ups and downs like any other human being.
“That block button is a great thing on Twitter,” Rimes laughed.
LeAnn Rimes made her debut on Good Morning America in 1993. 20 years later, Rimes has a much different style, but the same good voice. Looking back, she doesn’t regret her giant hairdo. She’s from Texas, everything is bigger there.
LeAnn Rimes “What Have I Done?” Performance Review
This new LeAnn Rimes is the real LeAnn. She really bares it all on “What Have I Done?” The song sounds like a tribute to her ex-husband, Dean Sheremet. Rimes cheated on Dean with Cibrian in 2009 when she was filming the Lifetime movie Northern Lights. It’s not a song about regret, it’s about hating that you hurt someone and going back to find yourself in the middle of the mess.
