On GMA September 5, Lara Spencer was joined by country stars Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean to announce the nominations for this year’s Country Music Awards. Check out the nominees for the top 5 biggest awards below.

Luke Bryan & Jason Aldean: Nominees
Congratulations to all of this year’s nominees, but especially to Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean, who both got to read their own names for two nominations each. The duo have been out on tour together and have had an amazing year. Luke said that to cap off the year with CMA nominations is “pretty amazing.” Jason is also very excited to be nominated and is looking forward to a fun night at the awards ceremony.
What about the fact that they are going head-t0-head for male vocalist? Jason and Luke are friends now, but we’ll see how things progress!
