Carly Rae’s newest song is “Tonight I’m Getting Over You.” It’s another song that will have tweens screaming and you humming it throughout the work day. While nothing replaces “Call Me Maybe,” Jepsen collaborated with Nicki Minaj on the song. She told Lara Spencer that the song didn’t feel finished until Nicki lent her talents.

Good Morning America: “Call Me Maybe” Dance Remix

Going in a new direction with her number one hit, Jepsen turned up the volume in Central Park with a dance remix to “Call Me Maybe.” While it’s high energy, it’s still not as perfect as the original. It was almost too fast for Jepsen to sing. There was even an awkward moment where she tripped and covered up by singing seductively and touching herself.

For the first time performing the new remix, Carly Rae did just OK. You can’t beat the original!
