The cast of ABC’s hit political melodrama, Scandal, took over Times Square today and talked with GMA about the upcoming season finale of the show. The cast members gave insight on their characters, plot twists and shocking finale secrets.

When asked about playing his character Huck on Scandal, Guillermo Diaz said, “It’s been the most challenged I’ve ever been in a job.” He added that he is so fortunate to work with the writers and other actors on the show, but jokes that he’s “needed therapy after playing this character.”
Josh Malina, the actor that plays David on the show, has similar sentiments and says that he’s getting used to most of America hating him at once, due to his character’s malicious acts. The actors have all been very open with fans via Twitter this season and are excited for them to see the finale on Thursday.
The cast watched the finale together and were shocked by it themselves. “It is called Scandal…. Fans are going to have more questions at the end of the season than answers,” said Darby Stanchfield, who plays Abby Whelan on the show.

The season finale set to air on Thursday night, May 16, will leave fans wanting more and asking questions. One question on cast members’ and fans’ minds is: Will President Fitzgerald Grant, “Fitz,” run for a second term?
GMA showed a clip from Thursday’s finale showing Kerry Washington’s character Olivia Pope talking with Fitz played by Tony Goldwyn. In the clip, Fitz tells Olivia that he will be running for another term, he will win the election, he will marry Olivia, and she will move into the White House with him. Olivia responds that there are a million reasons that his plan cannot happen.
So, will Fitz get a divorce from the First Lady during the middle of an election? Will there even be another election for Fitz? Tune in for the season finale of Scandal on Thursday, May 16 at 10 on ABC.
