GMA: Sarah Chalke In How To Live With Your Parents (For the Rest Of Your Life)

Actress Sarah Chalke came by Good Morning America April 3 2013 to talk about her new show How To Live With Your Parents (For the Rest Of Your Life). The actress is probably best known for her role in Scrubs, but I’m still kind of mad at her character Stella in How I Met Your Mother for leaving Ted at the altar.

Now, the actress has this new show about a woman who is forced to move back in with her parents. Sarah Chalke said that it was a very fun show because the creator of the show, Claudia Lonow, who Sarah Chalke plays on the show, comes from a stand-up family and she hired a lot of stand-up comedians.

Sarah Chalke also said she thought the show was a good depiction of a new reality. More and more older people are moving back in with their parents, and she said she didn’t think there was a specific type of family anymore.

Sarah Chalke: Grey’s Anatomy Kawasaki Disease

Sarah Chalke was part of a special episode of Grey’s Anatomy recently that spotlighted Kawasaki disease, which was an episode very near Sarah Chalke’s heart because her son had the disease two years ago. A child can only get the cure for the disease during a 10-day window and the disease is often misdiagnosed. She said they really fought to get to a specialist to see their child to see if he had it. Finally, on day 10, a doctor diagnosed him and gave him the treatment and now he’s alright.
