Now that Robin Roberts is back at work we’ll send our well wishes to Lady Gaga. Mother Monster went into surgery yesterday for a lateral tear in her right hip. Gaga hid the injury from her fans and staff longer than she should have. She was forced to cancel her entire tour because of the injury.

Doctors said that this is a major surgery that involves extensive recovery. Gaga will be out for four months recovering, after which they said there is no limit to what she can do. This is good new for the pop star, who is dying to get back to her fans.

“So I thought to myself, I’m alive, I’m living my dream and this is just a bump in the road” Gaga wrote to her fans last night. “I’m grateful because this is temporary, and for some it is not. You have changed my life. I love you and am proud to be a part of your lives. If you can do it, I can do it too, and if we stick together we can get through anything.”

GMA: Lady Gaga Wheelchair Named Emma

Lady Gaga won’t be alone on her journey to recovery. She’s got a friend that will be with her every roll of the way, her wheelchair, Emma. It’s surprising that Lady Gaga gave her wheelchair such a normal name. One might expect her to ride around on a Spike or Athena.

Perhaps this new accessory will do more for Gaga than just getting her around? She could start her own line of decorative wheelchairs. Lady Gaga, if you do start this line, I would like a portion of the profits for giving you the idea. I’m thinking bedazzles, spikes, maybe a Bacon-quilted backpack on the side?

GMA: Play Of the Day

This impressive trick shot was probably more of a lucky shot. At the Kuwait Open, table tennis got it’s shot at glory. As these two men battled for the win, a simple slip of the arm got this player applause from his opponent. It must have been really hard for him to play with his jaw on the floor like that.
