GMA: Kelly Clarkson vs. Clive Davis
In his new memoir The Soundtrack of My Life, Clive Davis recounts his long history in the music business. While he believes the stories are accurate representations, Kelly Clarkson is taking deep offense at the stories he tell about her. She took to the Internet on Tuesday to tell her side of their story. She said she refuses to be bullied.
GMA: “Since U Been Gone”
According to Davis’ memoir, Clarkson did not want to include her now platinum hit “Since U Been Gone” on her album Breakaway. Davis wrote that she burst into tears when he insisted she include the song. Clarkson said the only time she cried in front of her former producer was when she sang “Because Of You.” Clarkson co-wrote the song which also became a hit.
Clarkson said that Davis was “spreading misinformation.” Davis said Clarkson “should be grateful” for the opportunity he gave her.
“I am truly very sorry that she has taken issue with what I know to be an accurate depiction of our time together,” Davis said.
GMA: Play Of the Day
One of the things we know Robin missed while she was out was “Play of the Day.” They’ve brought many of their favorites back for her. Josh said their favorite while Robin was gone was today’s video.
In the immortal words of rednecks, “Hey, ya’ll! Watch this!” A guy in a speedo jumps in the pool, only it’s rock hard, solid ice. His good friends stand by and laugh at his misfortune.
