Brooke Shields Guest Hosts for Good Morning America

The special guest host for Good Morning America on Thursday, October 11 was actress and model Brooke Shields. Co-host Robin Roberts sent in a video letting everyone know she was home safe from her bone marrow transplant and that she couldn’t wait to watch everyone on GMAfrom her home.

GMA: Hitchcock Film Trailer Released

GMA’s pop news featured the first look at the new film Hitchcock, featuring Anthony Hopkins in the title role. The film will be a love story about his relationship with his wife, played by Helen Mirren, and the movie takes place during the filming of Psycho. Scarlett Johansson will be the woman in the famous Psycho shower scene.

GMA: Lennon and Maisy Find Recurring Roles on Nashville

Lennon and Maisy are two little girls who sing while playing on their musical instruments – butter tubs. Talent scouts took notice of them and they have been cast on the show Nashville and will have recurring roles. You can see them in the third episode of the show where they play Connie Britton’s daughters performing in a school talent show. Lennon and Maisy performed on Good Morning America back in July.

Good Morning America: Mitik the Walrus Moves to New York

Mitik, the 234 pound walrus, is coming to New York. He was rescued off the coast of Alaska and will be finding a new home at the New York Aquarium on Coney Island. He and another walrus were nursed back to health in Alaska. 234 pounds might seem like a lot, but he’s considered small right now. The vets taking care of Mitik said that he’s getting a lot better and is gaining about a pound a day. Mitik has been called “very scrappy” and visitors to the aquarium will be able to see him by springtime.
