GMA: Brad Goreski New York Fashion Week vs. Celebrity Styling
Brad Goreski, celebrity stylist and star of Bravo’s It’s a Brad, Brad World came by Good Morning America to talk about his show. Lara Spencer asked him whether working New York Fashion Week or working for a fussy celebrity for a red carpet event was more stressful in his business. Brad Goreski said they’re different stresses, because he said for the celebrity, they really only have one great moment, whereas in New York Fashion week, there may be as many as 30 looks that have to tell a story. He said that on the show, you really get to see both aspects of his job, both as a celebrity stylist and preparing for the runway. Goreski said we will get to see him working with clients like Rashida Jones and Stacey Kiebler.
Brad Goreski: Pastels On the Red Carpet
Brad Goreski said he thought that the reason so many stars were dressed in pastel colors at the Oscars was because of a “return to femininity.” He said we used to see a lot of bold color and now there is this trend of light pastels. He said that one of the best ways to do pastels in everyday life is with denim. Lara Spencer said that she’s tried pink denim before and it can be tricky. Goreski said that J Brand makes a great skinny jean and that it’s important to find the right fit.
GMA: Brad Goreski Metallic Trend
Lara Spencer said that her favorite dress on the red carpet was Stacy Kiebler’s metallic Oscar dress. Brad Goreski styled her that night and said that the second Stacey Kiebler wore that dress, they knew it was the one. He advised people at home that if they wanted to add the metallic look to their wardrobe, get metallic accessories, like shoes or a belt.
