Gwyneth Paltrow: Stand Up to Cancer’s New Executive Producer

This year’s Stand Up to Cancer campaign is set to be the biggest yet, with executive producer Laura Ziskin passing away in June 2011. Gwyneth Paltrow stepped in and took over as executive producer, and invited dozens of her celebrity friends. Julia Roberts, Matt Damon, Michael Douglas, Taylor Swift, and Emma Stone are all involved and Paltrow’s husband’s band, Coldplay. will perform. The program will air across various networks including ABC on Sept. 7. So far the group has raised over 180 million dollars for cancer research.

Vivienne Jolie-Pitt in Maleficent Disney Movie

Good Morning America said that Vivienne Jolie-Pitt has landed her first acting role, alongside her famous mother Angelina Jolie. The four-year-old will play a young version of Aurora in the film Maleficent, and her mother will star as the evil title character. The Disney movie is a reworking of Sleeping Beauty, told from the evil queen’s perspective. Maleficent is projected to be released in 2014. Vivienne is the youngest daughter of Jolie and Brad Pitt’s six children.

Lady Gaga Perfume Called “Fame” on

Good Morning America also announced that Grammy-winning artist Lady Gaga can add “perfume maker” to her resume. Gaga is releasing a special promotional video for the fragrance and you can see more on her website,, later this month. The scent is aptly entitled “Fame.”

“Dog Shaming:” Tumblr of Canine Confessions

There is a new Tumblr site called “Dog Shaming.” It features pages and pages of dogs looking guilty with signs next to them confessing what they did. The signs consist of everything from “I ate $20” to “I stole a little girl’s ice cream at the park.” GMA’s Lara Spencer then showed a picture of co-star George Stephanopoulos’ dog Daisy in a pot on the stove. He said that the best caption would be “Who needs lobsters?”
