Good Morning America shared Harley Pasternak’s Hollywood Workout review. Models demonstrated moves such as the Sumo Squat exercise and alternating Superman.

Work your inner thighs and glutes with the Sumo Squat. Hold a bottle of laundry detergent or water in front of you as you squat up and down. You can also try it with weights, starting with five pounds and working up to heavier weights.

Squat down between your heels, and keep your weight between your arches and heels.

GMA: Alternating Superman Exercise

Harley said that a strong lower back is key to core strength. Try the Alternating Superman exercise. Lay on a yoga mat, raising your left arm and right leg up in the air as if you were flying like Superman. Then switch to your right arm and left leg and repeat.

This is an exercise Harley suggested for Megan Fox after childbirth.

Good Morning America: Stiff Leg Dead Lift Exercise

This Stiff Leg Dead Lift tones the back and thighs. The model used a bottle of laundry detergent in each arm. She kept her back straight as she lowered and raised the weights.

GMA: Close Grip Press Up Exercise

Using the yoga mat again, engage your triceps to do a push up without your lower body leaving the ground. That should make it a little less intimidating, while also targeting the muscles in your arms.

Good Morning America: How Many Steps To Take Daily

A viewer emailed to ask how she can make the most out of walking for exercise, keeping in mind that she has to take her three-year-old along. Harley’s advice was to use a pedometer to ensure you are taking 10,000 steps per day. He said comfortable shoes are a must because they make you more likely to walk.

Good Morning America: Mechanical Bull Workout

A professional bull riding competition is bound for Madison Square Garden. At the end of the broadcast, GMA shared a brief preview of the sport as a woman explained how her passion for it developed as she grew up. I guess that is another way to make exercise fun.
