Ellen: Elizabeth Banks Interview

Elizabeth Banks is best known as a comedic actress, with a recurring role on the sitcom 30 Rock and parts in movies like Our Idiot Brother.

But for her latest project, she is showing a more dramatic side in the film adaptation of the popular book series The Hunger Games. Elizabeth will tell Ellen DeGeneres about the challenges of turning a book into a movie when she visits the host’s talk show on March 21 2012.

Ellen: The Hunger Games Premiere

If that wasn’t enough, Ellen will have a full report on the movie’s big premiere. For her March 21 2012 show, Ellen sent Jeannie and a huge Hunger Games fan to work the red carpet for the movie’s big debut.

I’m sure they will have a few run-ins with the stars of the movie. I wonder if Jeannie or her co-conspirator will participate in any red carpet Dance Dares. We’ll have to tune in to find out for sure.

Ellen: American Idol’s Casey James

Remember a few years ago when Ellen was a judge on American Idol? That was a strong season, and one of the final contenders was Casey James.

Now Casey is back, visiting Ellen to give her an update on his latest career moves. He is about to unleash his debut CD, called Casey James. He will perform a song from the album called “Let’s Don’t Call It a Night.”

You’ll have to tune in to check it out and see what you think of this former Idol’s stab at fame. His fellow finalists haven’t had the best of luck, but maybe Casey will break the cycle.
