Ellen: The Container Store Gift Wrap Wonderland + Red Rocks Resort

Ellen TV: Tom Hanks Eye Exam

Ellen’s big first guest was A-list celebrity and all-around nice guy Tom Hanks, from the new movie Saving Mr. Banks. He brought some of his own dance moves to to the set before offering Ellen some free medical advice. But the real story here was that it was time for the 12 Days of Giveaways, a little earlier than usual today! The gift list included a vacation to the Red Rocks Resort and a gift card to The Container Store’s Gift Wrap Wonderland.

The ruse was twofold: first, Loni Love would not stop hitting on him. Then he was curious about her stye on her right eye. “I thought you had to be kicked off TV if you had something like that,” Hanks said. He said she just needs to get air in her eye to clear it up.

He claimed it was a Greek remedy for a stye, and he offered to poke her eye with a letter opener to clear it up. Ellen did not like this idea at all, but she had no choice but to sit still until the bells rang out.

Ellen’s 12 Days of Giveaways: Petco Holiday Branded Products

Ellen said that Petco has many holiday branded products that can help you remember your four-legged friends this time of year. Her Halo brand of pet food is sold at Petco, and that is one of many things you can buy from their stores using a $300 Petco gift card.

With help from Tom Hanks, Day 5 of Ellen’s 12 Days of Giveaways included a Red Rocks Resort vacation, a gift card to The Container Store, and much more.

Cost Plus World Market has a unique selection of gift ideas at a variety of price points that can satisfy almost any budget and finicky person on your list with something special and thoughtful. They have teamed with Downton Abbey on a line of products that includes a tea set, dessert plates, and more. Ellen gave everyone a $300 Cost Plus World Market gift card.

Toys ‘R’ Us: Little Tikes Cozy Coupe Review

The Little Tikes Cozy Coupe is an American icon that has been a part of our lives for three decades. It’s good indoors and outdoors. The company donated 500 cars to Toys for Tots, Ellen’s favorite holiday charity.

To get your own Cozy Coupe or other toys for the holidays, take home a $400 Toys ‘R’ Us gift card, thanks to Ellen and her friends.

Gift Wrap Wonderland: The Container Store Review

The Container Store is not just a great place to get organized. It is also your gift wrap headquarters, with a Gift Wrap Wonderland in stores and online. You can make every gift beautiful this year.

With those features and thousands of other innovative, creative product ideas, you can be sure that you won’t run out of ideas to spend a $500 gift card to The Container Store.

Ellen: Red Rocks Resort Review

The final big surprise gift was some relaxation after a bustling holiday season. Ellen sent her entire audience to the Red Rocks Resort in Las Vegas. She promised great food, entertainment, and plenty of games. It included $200 spa credit and $300 food credit, as well as transportation. That’s quite the vacation package.

What is your favorite gift from today’s options? I feel like Ellen should not be giving out so many gift cards, though I guess that way everyone can get something they will enjoy.
