Ellen: Hilary Duff

Ellen DeGeneres and Hilary Duff were amazed that the Mother’s Day audience of pregnant women were so agile, dancing in the aisles during commercial breaks. “If I was getting all this stuff, I’d be jumping up and down too,” Hilary Duff said, referring to gifts like the Sleep Number P5 Bed, Britax Baby Carrier & 4moms MamaRoo Bouncer. Ellen also had a surprise for Hilary Duff: the Dogeared Create necklace.

Each Mother’s Day, Ellen gives thousands of dollars worth of gifts to her studio audience of moms, and this year was no different. Earlier in the week, she estimated the total value of this year’s gifts at over $8,000, which is a great head start on all the products new moms might need as they bring a baby home for the first time.

Hilary Duff: Dogeared Create Necklace

Ellen presented celebrity mom Hilary Duff with a personalized Dogeared Create necklace. This is jewelry for moms that you can personalize with a baby’s initials or other special emblems. That makes a great gift for Mother’s Day or any other upcoming birthday or holiday.

Ellen: Hilary Duff Save The Children

In addition to becoming a first time mom and evangelizing about the joys of motherhood, Hilary Duff is keeping busy in her spare time. She is working with Johnson’s Baby Cares and Save The Children to give a helping hand to kids in need.

“90% of children are living in high risk disaster zones, for natural disasters, so I’m creating baby care kits to be shipped out in times of need, to help moms keep their babies clean and taken care of in times of crisis,” Hilary Duff said.

She was excited to announce that Johnson’s Baby Cares is making a $100,000 donation to Save The Children, in time for Mother’s Day. That could go a long way to helping families when they need it most.
