Ellen: David Arquette Interview
He’s made headlines for his high profile relationship with actress Courteney Cox and his public struggles with addiction. How is David Arquette doing today?
Ellen DeGeneres sat down with the actor to find out how life is going for him. She thanked him for wearing the jacket she gave him in an appearance on ABC’s Dancing With The Stars.
Ellen: David Arquette & Portia De Rossi
Ellen announced that she is executive producing a comedy pilot in development for the fall 2012 TV season. The show stars Ellen’s wife, Portia De Rossi, along with Jean Smart and David Arquette.
“You’re my boss now, so if you need anything, you need me to get you some coffee or something,” he offered.
Ellen: David Arquette Commonwealth Proper Clothing
Ellen noticed that David’s wardrobe is “more subdued” these days, as compared to his wild past. What changed for the actor?
“Sometimes I want to dress like a cowboy. I don’t know why,” he said. “Sometimes I just want to run around in ‘70s leisure suits. But no, I have been dressing a little more appropriate,” he said.

Ellen: David Arquette’s Daughter Coco
David Arquette comes from a family of entertainers, and now his daughter Coco is getting in on the family business. It must be in their blood.
David said Coco, now age 7, is doing schools plays, including Annie and Pinnochio. Ellen imagined that David would be a fun dad, basically because he is brimming with nervous energy.
His sister, actress Patricia Arquette, bought Coco a mermaid tail that is actually operable and can be used in the pool. “I was looking for one my size,” David said.
David Arquette: What About You Book Review
David Arquette and his daughter Coco have a shared love of the book What About You? The book asks a variety of strange and thought provoking questions, like “Would you rather be the best player on a losing team, or the worst player on a winning team?”
That sounds like something you spend hours talking about, though Ellen discovered that its questions about love life and other topics might not be age-appropriate for his 7-year-old.
