Hilary Duff: 4moms MamaRoo Bouncer Review
Ellen DeGeneres’s Mother’s Day show featured celebrity baby product picks, including Hilary Duff’s 4moms MamaRoo Bouncer Review, plus Molly Sims for the Sleep Number P5 Bed. Also, Ellen recommended Britax Car Seats and other products for her audience of first time moms to be.
Hilary Duff recommended her own favorite baby product, which simulates a parent’s arm movements, rocking your baby to sleep or keeping them calm while leaving your hands free to get things done. Ellen made sure everyone in the audience got a 4moms MamaRoo Bouncer.
Ellen: Hilary Duff Son Luca
Hilary Duff became a first time mom just seven weeks ahead of Mother’s Day, and she was honored to be among a sisterhood of expectant first time moms in the studio audience.
“I hope you all feel as beautiful as you look,” Hilary Duff said.
Hilary Duff’s new arrival, Luca, was about three weeks old in the picture she shared with Ellen. Though he looked focused and docile in the photograph, she said he was temperamental right before the picture was taken.
“What is to come is such an amazing journey, and a lot of work,” she told the moms-to-be.
She said the biggest surprise of motherhood so far is “all the faces they make,” noting that her son recently started smiling. She is also grateful that he has been sleeping through the night lately.
Ellen: Hilary Duff Baby Delivery
Hilary revealed that her son was about four days late, and she didn’t find that any of the old wives’ tales to induce labor, such as eating hot sauce, did the trick for her. But she was calm when she finally went into labor late one night, packing for the hospital before waking her husband.
Her family met her at the hospital the next day, and she said her family had run to the hospital cafeteria for a snack during the long labor. While they were gone, the doctor came to have her start pushing. Then her family returned with refreshments, not realizing that the serious labor and delivery were underway.
Ellen: Hilary Duff Hockey Baby
Last time Hilary talked with Ellen, the talk show host gifted her with a hockey outfit for her son, who hadn’t yet arrived. Hilary’s husband, Mike Comrie, was a professional hockey player, and Ellen wondered how Hilary would feel about her son following in that tradition.
“I think he has such a pretty little face, I’m scared,” Hilary said. “Never say never.” She was afraid he would damage his face or teeth, but doesn’t want to stand in the way of whatever her child decides to pursue.
Ellen: Mother’s Day Soldier Greetings
Ellen had another surprise message for an expectant mom in her audience. 1st Lieutenant Josh Cuellar is stationed in Bahrain, and he sent Mother’s Day greetings to Brittany, his wife and the mother of his future child.
