Ellen has a great show planned for June 26 2012, with special guests Reese Witherspoon and Nathan Lane.
Ellen: Reese Witherspoon This Means War Review
Reese Witherspoon will be stopping by to chat with Ellen about her new movie called This Means War. Reese stars in the film alongside Chris Pine and Tom Hardy. Chris and Tom play two top-level CIA operatives who both fall in love with Reese’s character, and as the name would imply, wage war against each other.
As cheesy as the movie looked, it was sort of cleverly conceived. Men tend like action movies. Women tend like romantic comedies. So somebody decided to make a movie that was both. Tip of the hat to the evil geniuses in Hollywood.
In the preview for the episode, Ellen asked Reese what it was like to kiss Chris and Tom.
“It was not difficult,” Reese said.
Reese is also the mother a daughter, Ava Elizabeth Phillippe, and son, Deacon Reese Phillippe. She had them with former husband, Ryan Phillipe. Her kids are bound to be a topic of discussion.
Ellen: Nathan Lane
The hysterically funny Nathan Lane will be stopping by to chat with Ellen. In the preview for the episode, Nathan and Ellen played a game called “Things You Yell Out.” The first one they show is Nathan yelling, “Newt Gingrich!?” What a funny guy.
Nathan is currently on Broadway in a revival of Eugene O’Neill’s The Iceman Cometh. The play takes place at a saloon in 1912 and follows the stories of its denizens.
Nathan also has two movies coming out in 2012. The first is a retelling of Snow White called Mirror Mirror. The second is The English Teacher, based on R. K. Narayan’s 1937 novel. It follows the life of an english teacher, named Krishna, as he seeks enlightenment.
