Melissa McCarthy‘s career has been soaring recently since her outstanding performance in the smash hit Bridesmaids. She’s been nominated for several awards including an Academy for best supporting actress. She’ll be on Ellen to talk about what’s it like to enjoy so much new attention and success.

Prior to her Bridesmaids, Melissa was known best for her role as Sookie in the ABC Family‘s hit show Gilmore Girls. Now she’s the star of her new hit show Mike & Molly and has received an Emmy Award for outstanding lead actress in a comedy series for her work on the show.

Ellen: Luke Bryan CMA Red Carpet

Country music star Luke Bryan will be Ellen‘s correspondent on the red carpet at the Country Music Awards. Luke is a country music singer known for his number one singles “Rain Is A Good Thing,” “Someone Else Calling You Baby,” “I Don’t Want This Night To End,” and “Drunk On You.”

Apparently, the last time he was on Ellen, he took his shirt off. So who knows what sort of crazy shenanigans will ensue this time?

Also, Luke just recently released his fourth Spring Break EP entitled Spring Break 4…Suntan City.

Ellen: Armie Hammer J Edgar Review

Armie Hammer played both of the Winklevoss twins in acclaimed hit film The Social Network, which chronicled the conception and rise of online social utility Facebook. Now he’s starring in Clint Eastwood‘s highly anticipated biopic J. Edgar, which tells the story of the late J. Edgar Hoover. Armie will be chatting with Ellen about the film and his costar Leonardo DiCaprio, who plays J. Edgar.

Armie‘s career seems to be taking off. Earlier this year, he played Prince Andrew Alcott in Tarsem Singh‘s Mirror Mirror, which was a retelling of the Snow White fairy tale. In 2013, he’ll play the title character in the film Lone Ranger.
