Ellen June 28 2012 Preview

It looks like a pretty good show is planned for Ellen June 28 2012. Her guests will be Joel McHale and Kellie Pickler.

Ellen: Newly Married Kellie Pickler

Kellie Pickler recently married fellow country singer Kyle Jacobs. The couple eloped on January 1, 2011 on an island in the Caribbean. They had been dating for two and a half years prior to their marriage.

In the preview for the June 28 episode of Ellen, Kellie makes fun of her husband’s Minnesota accent. It’s funny to hear her do it, because she has a very thick southern accent.

“Do you hear your accent while you’re making fun of Minnesota?” Ellen asks.

“I don’t really listen to myself,” Kellie says.

Ellen quips, “I believe that.”

Later in the preview, it shows Ellen giving Kellie a very special spa treatment. She covers her face in a chocolate paste and sticks marshmallows and graham crackers to her face.

Plus, Kellie will perform her new hit song, “Tough” off her album 100 Proof.

Ellen: Community’s Joel McHale

Joel McHale will be catching up with Ellen on June 28. Ellen‘s website doesn’t say much about what to expect, but Joel‘s a pretty funny guy so it should be amusing.

Joel McHale stars as Jeff Winger in NBC‘s hit comedy Community.

He has also been the host of E!‘s The Soup since 2004. The is very similar to Comedy Central‘s Tosh.0. In fact, it seems as though Daniel Tosh‘s show borrows a lot from The Soup. The most obvious distinction between the two shows is that Tosh.0 focuses exclusively on YouTube videos and The Soup focuses on television programs. Other than that, they’re almost the same.

Community began in 2009 and also stars Chevy Chase. The show follows the lives of several students at a community college. It has been successful and was recently renewed for a fourth season. However, the fourth season will be at a different time and will be made without the series creator, Dan Harmon, as showrunner. At least the writers David Guarascio and Moses Port will be taking up the slack.
