Ellen May 30 2013 Preview

On May 30 2013, Ellen is still bringing you all new episodes. She’s hearing about the kids movie of the year, Despicable Me 2, from the evil scientist gone good himself, Steve Carrell. No doubt they’ll also get into Steve’s cameo on The Office finale. Also, the incredible magician Justin Flom stops by. Last time, he made a double stuffed Oreo shrink. I can do that too, but it doesn’t unshrink.

Steve Carrell: Despicable Me 2 & The Office Series Finale Cameo

Steve Carrell surprised us all. He swore up and down that he would not return to the offices of Dunder Mifflin Paper Company. Well, he didn’t return to the office, exactly.

Jim surprised Dwight and switched in Michael Scott as his best man at the last minute. Best prank ever, Jim. It was a good, solid ending to nine seasons of the show, but one has to wonder what would have happened had Michael Scott remained in the office another year. Mayhem and shenanigans no doubt.

Steve is talking about his kids movie franchise Despicable Me on May 30. The highly anticipated sequel, Despicable Me 2, sees the return of Gru and his cute adopted daughters, Margot, Edith and Agnes. It’s going to be the kids movie of the summer and I have a feeling that parents will be excited to see it as well.

Justin Flom: Expert Magician & Oreo Trick

Also on this episode of Ellen, expert magician Justin Flom is a special guest. He’s bringing illusions and cool tricks to Ellen’s couch. The last time Flom visited, he took an Oreo and was able to squish the stuff up and down with his mind and fingers. I could do the same, just give me some milk and an entire package of Oreos. You might not get them all back, but I bet you’ll be amazed at how fast they disappear!
