Ellen: Ellie Kemper of The Office

Ellie Kemper will be joining Ellen May 28 2012 to share details about her wedding plans. She’s getting married to Michael Koman. Michael is a former writer for Late Night with Conan O’Brien. Little does she know that Ellen had a bachelorette surprise for her! The preview shows a male stripper dancing very erotically in front of Ellie.

Interestingly enough, Ellie never auditioned to be on The Office. She was auditioning for a part in Parks and Recreation but was called back to audition for the supporting role of Erin Hannon, character Pam Beesly‘s replacement, for The Office instead.

Ellen interviews 2012 Teacher of the Year

Ellen sits down with the 2012 Teacher of the Year Rebecca Mieliwocki. Rebecca is a seventh grade English teacher at California’s Luther Burbank Middle School. She found out in March that she had been selected as teacher of the year. She’ll tell Ellen all about her day at the White House and how hot she thinks President Obama is! Then Ellen has a very special surprise for her.

This is the 62nd year that there has been a teacher of the year award. It began in 1952.

Ellen: Rufus Wainwright Performance

Rufus Wainwright will be on the show for the very first time! He’s going to perform a song from his new album Out of the Game.

It appears Rufus is a very busy and hardworking musician, as this is the fourth album he has released since 2009! Rufus has publicly said that his new album is more danceable than his previous work.
