Ellen September 29 2014 Preview
Recapo Update: Here are the segments from this episode:
Ellen DeGeneres will sit down with the hilarious Martin Short to talk about his new TV show. Then, she’ll hear from Noah Ritter about his experience at Walking With Dinosaurs. Finally, Temples will make their debut when they perform, and Melani Iglesias will take over the DJ booth.
Ellen TV: Martin Short
Ellen will sit down with Martin Short to talk to the Emmy-winning actor about his newest ways of making people laugh. He’s perhaps best known from his days on Saturday Night Live but now he’s back to the small screen to star in John Mulaney’s new sitcom “about all the hilarious mundanities of life.”
People with such natural comedic talent are rare, and Martin Short can definitely make any situation a hilarious one. He’s played a hysterical wedding planner in Father of the Bride and also voices characters in animated films like Frankenweenie, Treasure Planet and Madagascar 3. He’s certainly proved that talent only gets better with age, and he’ll have everyone, Ellen included, cracking up during his visit on September 29.
Ellen TV: “Apparently” Noah Ritter
Ellen will welcome Noah Ritter back to her stage. If you remember, he’s the little boy who shot to fame after his overuse of the word “apparently” during a news interview at the fair. Last time he was on the show he made quite the impression when he talked about jumping on the beds in his hotel room and his mom’s boyfriend opening up the mini-bar.
Ellen surprised him with a special opportunity to see Walking With Dinosaurs and he’ll be telling Ellen all about his experience. Noah had everyone laughing during his first visit on the show when he blew the cover on Ellen’s on set dinosaur, so there’s no telling what he’ll say about an entire show made up of them. You definitely don’t want to miss out as Noah Ritter sits down next to Ellen once again.
Ellen: Temples Performance + Melanie Iglesias
Ellen will then invite one of her favorite new bands, Temples, to make their debut on her show. Whether they perform “Move With The Season” or “Colours to Life” they’ll easily have the crowd mesmerized by their incredible performance.
Ellen will also invite Melanie Iglesias to take over the DJ booth. The star of MTV’s Guy Code will drop all kinds of sick beats for Ellen’s audience.
