Ellen: Jennifer Garner Men, Women, and Children
Jennifer Garner will come by Ellen to talk about being in two of the most anticipated movies of the fall, Men, Women, and Children and Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day. The latter movie is based on a beloved children’s book that was my favorite book as a child. In fact, I’m a little protective of it. I’m not sure it’s a good idea for Hollywood to turn it into a movie, but maybe it’ll be okay.
Jennifer Garner will talk about a lot of different things in her life, from her family’s Halloween escapades, to life with her husband Ben Affleck, and talking about this exciting time in her career. You won’t want to miss it!
Ellen: James Marsden The Best of Me
James Marsden will be starring in The Best of Me, the latest Nicholas Sparks movie. Marsden is no stranger to Nicholas Sparks movies, having been the Other Man in The Notebook. This movie is really James Marsden’s time to shine. He’s made a career out of playing a second banana, such as Cyclops in the X-Men franchise, who you just know could never really end up with Jean Grey. We’re all rooting for Wolverine, right? He also played the guy dating Lois Lane that wasn’t Superman in Superman Returns, so you just know that wasn’t going to work out. It seems like this could definitely be his moment.
Meanwhile, the movie could easily be in trouble given the recent allegations of antisemitism and racism in a lawsuit against Nicholas Sparks. Will James Marsden talk about that? It seems like it’d be pretty hard not to.
Ellen: Fences & Macklemore “Arrows” Performance
Fences and Macklemore will also come by Ellen to perform their hit track “Arrows,” a fusion of hop hop and electronic music. You won’t want to miss it!
