Ellen: Emily Blunt Interview
Emily Blunt took on Meryl Streep in The Devil Wears Prada, and that was only her first major American acting role. The British actress is getting very comfortable with American life, taking on memorable roles and even nabbing The Office star John Krasinki as her husband.
Now she’s preparing for yet another sure to be popular movie, The Five Year Engagement, which is coming soon to theaters. Her co-star for that project is Jason Segel, so Emily Blunt will have to explain whether it’s a drama or a comedy when she sits down to chat about it with Ellen on April 17 2012.
Ellen: Jason Mraz Returns
Crooner Jason Mraz knows how to create a catchy tune, and he must be one of Ellen’s besties, because he’s back on the show for the second time in just a few months. I wonder if he’s managed to find his way to the barber shop since his last appearance.
Coming up on the April 17 2012 episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, he will be performing his new song “The Woman I Love,” from his latest CD, Love Is A Four Letter Word. If you didn’t catch him during his last appearance on the show, now you have a second chance.
Be sure to set your DVR for the April 17 2012 episode of Ellen, and bookmark Recapo so you can download the music after the performance.
Ellen: Tax Preparation Advice
This year, the US federal tax deadline was extended to April 17 2012. On her upcoming show, Ellen will offer last minute tax advice to her studio audience who are struggling with their last minute return preparations. Here’s a hint: if you still have to file your taxes, maybe you shouldn’t be attending a talk show taping.
As far as I know, Ellen is not a certified tax professional. But she is an experienced comedy professional, so her advice is sure to be humorous. But I wouldn’t trust any financial advice she has to offer. Hurry up and get those returns finished so you can enjoy a new episode of Ellen’s show, featuring these guests and more, coming April 17 2012.
