Ellen: Colin Farrell Interview
Ellen DeGeneres is back with all new shows, starting Monday April 2 2012. But one of her first guests is working on a project that’s not so new. Actor Colin Farrell is starring in the new remake of the 1990s action classic Total Recall.
Will he finally explain to Ellen and all of us why Hollywood just keeps churning out sequels and remakes instead of coming up with new stories and classics to share with audience? Probably not, but he will likely at least be charming during his time with her.
Ellen: Seann William Scott Interview
Do you remember when you first heard about the original American Pie movie? That was 13 years ago, and it ushered in a new era of teen comedy movies as well as its own successful franchise in the spirit of National Lampoon.
Now the original cast is coming back together for their huge sequel, American Reunion. Seann William Scott will fill Ellen in on what everyone’s been up to, and what it was like getting back together after more than a decade.
The original American Pie launched many of its young stars’ careers, and while I was just complaining about sequels a few paragraphs ago, there’s something about checking in on an aging cast, even if only as a barometer of your own age.
Don’t miss the Seann William Scott interview on Ellen’s April 2 2012 episode.
Ellen: Lionel Richie Performance
When you think of Lionel Richie, country music is probably not the first thing that comes to mind. But he says it’s not that great a leap from the soulful R&B he’s best known for.
Now the singer is paying tribute to his roots and inspirations with a new album of duets with country superstars like Blake Shelton, Tim McGraw, Shania Twain, and more. He even named the album after his birthplace, Tuskegee, Alabama, and he’ll be sharing a performance with Ellen on her April 2 2012 show.
I’m looking forward to seeing if any of his friends will show up to sing with him. You can find out for yourself by catching the show on TV, or you can catch up with what you missed afterwards on Recapo.
