Every year to celebrate their wedding anniversary, Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi have a party with a few guests. This past summer they decided to have the biggest party so for. They invited 300 people. Ellen said she wasn’t thinking and that is 300 hellos and 300 goodbyes that you have to give.

This year they invited kids and it was a mess. Ten minutes in and they had a toilet overflow. They called Roto Rooter and they spent hours snaking out the toilet. They pulled out a cocktail napkin, a paper towel and a child’s practice bracelet flushed down the toilet.

Ellen: NFL Players Support Gay Marriage

All-Pro NFL linebacker Brendon Ayanbadejo made a YouTube video supporting gay marriage. Then he was attacked and condemned by Baltimore politician Emmert C. Burns Jr. and told him to keep quiet. Then Minnesota Vikinigs punter Chris Kluwe wrote the most articulate and eloquent letter defending Brendon and equal rights. She said it is the most amazing letter and you have to read it. She said it uses some strong language, but it is worth reading.

Ellen: Pink Causes Controversy

Pink was on Ellen on September 10 2012 and Ellen surprised her with some of the members of the U.S. Women’s Gymnastics team and when they came out Pink said “shut the front door” and it angered viewers and they thought she said something different and they wanted it cut out before it aired in the rest of the country. They thought she said “shut the f’ up” and Ellen showed it again and Pink did say “shut the front door.” Some people need to pay attention a little bit closer before they go writing in to complain about shows.

Ellen: Finding Nemo 3D Premiere

If you haven’t heard, but the amazing movie that brought Ellen’s career back from the dead, Finding Nemo, is being made into a 3D movie and it comes out on September 14 2012. She gave her audience members tickets to the premiere of Finding Nemo 3D that night!
