Dierks Bentley & The Punch Brothers: “Senor (Tales of Yankee Power)”

Dierks Bentley and The Punch Brothers visited Ellen to perform their cover of the classic Bob Dylan song “Senor (Tales of Yankee Power).”

Their effort is part of a compilation Bob Dylan tribute album created as a fundraiser for the charity Amnesty International.

Since debuting in 2003, country singer Dierks Bentley has released seven CDs. His latest effort, Home, debuted in February 2012, featuring the hit single “Am I The Only One.”

He is currently on a world tour, with stops coming up in Canada, Australia, and throughout the United States. Tour dates and information are available online at dierks.com.

In 2011, Dierks Bentley was nominated for three Grammy Awards. In total, he has been nominated for nine Grammys but has yet to take home an award.

Dierks Bentley Chimes of Freedom Bob Dylan Tribute

The CD and digital release, called Chimes of Freedom: The Songs of Bob Dylan Honoring 50 Years of Amnesty International, was released in January 2012, and Ellen is proud to feature these special performances in support of the charitable efforts Amnesty International has undertaken around the world.

This 76-song compilation features a variety of collaborators together on one collection, paying tribute to the musical legacy of Bob Dylan. Classic acts like Pete Seeger, Lucinda Williams, and Elvis Costello are joined by young newcomers including Miley Cyrus, My Morning Jacket, and Glee’s Darren Criss.

Plus there are some eclectic contributors to round things out, making this a collection that truly offers something for every music fan. Additional performers include Flogging Molly, State Radio, and Adele, among countless others.
