Brad Paisley’s new CD Wheelhouse is in stores today. He came to perform his song “Southern Comfort Zone,” which sounds like it will be a good summer song.

It’s about all the comforts of the south and missing it all when he’s living far away. Listening to this song when you have work to do probably isn’t the best idea. You will start day dreaming about sipping sweet tea on a porch in Tennessee.

Ellen predicts that this album will be big, just like everything else Paisley touches.

What is the deal with this song? Brad did a song with LL Cool J, “Accidental Racist,” that deals with racial tension. He said it’s music’s turn to have a race conversation. He doesn’t see much wrong with the song and wanted to make a statement with it. Twitter was a little more than offended by the song

Ellen: Portia’s Grammar School

Ellen and Portia wanted to visit Portia‘s grammar school in Melbourne. The girls lost it when Ellen walked through their halls and interrupted their classrooms. She and Portia really stopped the school day in it’s track.

I love that Ellen brought Gluteus Mikesimus into the school. I don’t think I would be able to function for the rest of the week if Ellen, Portia and Mike walked into the room. Ellen also took over the loudspeaker. She sang them some Whitney Houston and tried to cancel school for the day. I’m not sure if the teachers loved having Ellen or had a ton of damage control to do after her visit.

Ellen: Georgia Perry

While they were visiting the grammar school, Ellen met an adorable girl named Georgia Perry. She was a fantastic singer and Ellen loved her. Ellen invited her to sing at her show in Melbourne the next day. We’ll get to see that video later this week.
