Ellen: Aeroshot Review

“This is insanity,” Ellen said when she introduced a new product she found. “This is a new product that lets you inhale caffeine.”

The product she was referring to was Aeroshot Energy Drink.

“Congratulations America,” Ellen said. “We’re too lazy to sip anymore.”

Ellen said she didn’t want to try it because it isn’t FDA approved yet, so she had her assistant Amy try it instead. Amy was really jittery and said that she had about 15 aeroshots.

“That was probably all that I had,” Ellen said. “Actually I think I have more backstage.”

Amy got really excited and ran right through the set. To clarify, it was all a gag that they rehearsed.

Ellen: Free Gasoline

“Sometimes the best things in life are free,” Ellen said.

Given the high cost of gasoline, Ellen chose to be involved with a Shell station.

“I decided for the next hour, gas is going to be on me, whoever drives into that station,” she said.

She sent her correspondent Jeannie to the gas station to see how things were going. Ellen was overwhelmed to see so many cars.

“I didn’t realize there were that many pumps,” she said. “I thought there’d be two or three.”

“Nope,” Jeannie said. “There’s 12 pumps.”

Ellen joked that if she had known that, she “would’ve chose a different station.”

“Remember to put it all on your credit card and I’m going to reimburse you…probably,” Ellen teased.

Ellen: Gas Gift Card Giveaway

When Ellen checked in with Jeannie again, she had given away a lot of free gas.

“So far, we’ve given away 3,400 gallons of gas, or about $10,000,” she said.

“Who are you with,” she asked Jeannie.

“I’m with my friend Sarah,” Jeannie said.

“Well if she’s your friend, why don’t you give her a $500 gift card?” Ellen said.

Then Ellen walked over to a raffle box and said, “I’m going to give somebody in the audience a $5,000 card!” She pulled out the name of a woman in the audience.
