Ellen: Gangnam Style Mother and Son

Ellen kicked off with a very special live performance. When Ellen first caught their viral video, she couldn’t get enough. Now, the talented mother and son dancing duo behind the best Gangnam Style copycat video on the internet have made their national debut! Their names are Mike and Laura Song, and they performed their spectacular moves for the Ellen audience.

Mike revealed that making the video was his mom’s idea. She takes line dancing, and he is a hip-hop dance teacher, so they realized that they could work well together. “Tune in tomorrow when I teach my mom the Dougie,” Ellen joked after their awesome performance. Gangnam Style is really taking over the world!

Ellen: Owen Wilson & Vince Vaughn On Set

Next, Ellen had the opportunity to speak with a couple of pretty famous friends: Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson! The funny duo were taking a break from the set of their current film, The Internship, where they had just shot a cameo with Olympic Gold Medalist Missy Franklin.

The film is being shot at Google, and Owen said it’s the coolest place to work, ever; there’s a volleyball court, a pool, and free food everywhere! He’s considering quitting acting and getting a job there. The Internship will be released next summer.

Ellen: Clumsy Thumbsy

Autocorrect is supposed to make typing on your phone easier, but as we all know, that’s not always the case. Ellen showed off some of the most hilarious typos and misunderstandings during a popular segment called “Clumsy Thumbsy.” Some highlights included a man who meant to write that he had taken a pill and become drowsy at work, but autocorrect changed “drowsy” to “aroused.” Plus, a woman who messed up her painted “nips” instead of her painted “nails!”
