Ellen: Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie Alone Time
Ellen said she was amazed that Brad Pitt and his partner, Angelina Jolie, manage to find any alone time, given that they have six children.
“We find our time,” Brad said. “We carve out ‘Mommy-Daddy’ time. It’s called a hotel.”
Ellen: When Are Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie Getting Married?
Ellen asked Brad whether he and Angelina plan to get married anytime soon.
“I’ve said that we will not be getting married until everyone in this country has the right to get married,” he said. “We live in this great country that’s defined by our freedoms and equality and yet we allow this discrimination to go on everyday and that’s not what we’re about. That’s not what makes us great. Until that is reversed, I just don’t get it.”
“That means that if next week, it were legal for everyone to get married, then you’d get married the very next day?” Ellen asked somewhat jokingly.
Brad laughed and said that his and Angelina’s children are “putting on the heat” for them to get married.
“But you’ll still hold out?” Ellen asked.
Brad laughed and stammered a bit, feeling put on the spot. He said that he didn’t know what would happen in the future, whether he and Angelina would be able to wait to get married, but that he does deeply care about the fight for marriage equality. He said he’s confident that future generations will be capable to ensure it, but he hopes it happens before then.
“It’s shameful if we don’t get there now,” he said.
Ellen Gives Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie Family Baseball Jerseys
Referring to Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s six children, Ellen asked, “I think you’re one child short of a baseball team, aren’t you?”
Brad laughed and said that they were “one family member short of a baseball team.”
“So we gave you something that you’re going to have to help me with,” Ellen said. She grabbed a bag and both she and Brad reached in to pull out a clothesline.
They walked away from each other until the clothesline was stretched out. Along it were jerseys, one for each member of Brad and Angelina’s family, including two for them. Each jersey had a number and a name on it for each particular member of the family.
