Ellen: Sophia Grace & Rosie
Ellen DeGeneres has fallen head over heels for adorable young entertainers Sophia Grace and Rosie. The pair are becoming regulars on Ellen’s show.
Ellen asked the girls why they like to hang out backstage after the show. “We love the Ellen Show,” Sophia Grace said.
The girls were of course decked out in matching tutus and tiaras. This is like the more wholesome, presumably less abusive version of the contestants from the Toddlers & Tiaras cable reality show.
Sophia Grace & Rosie Visit Disneyland
Ellen recently sent the pair on a trip to Disneyland. “It was so, so good. I loved it,” Sophia Grace said.
“The Ariel ride is so good,” Rosie added.
Disneyland Little Mermaid Ride Review
Sophia Grace added that they saw the witch Ursula, from The Little Mermaid, during the ride.
“She wasn’t very nice, but it was a little bit dark,” she said. “I wasn’t scared, but it was just too dark, a little bit.”
They also met several Disney Princesses during their trip to Disneyland, including Aurora, Cinderella, Tiana, Ariel, Belle, and Snow White.
“Every character in the parade waved at us,” Rosie reported, “Even Mary Poppins.”
Sophia Grace & Rosie Paparazzi
The girls kept getting recognized from their Ellen Show appearances while they were making a video to share with Ellen.
Sophia Grace reported that fans wanting pictures kept interrupting their filming. She added that her mom noticed a paparazzo taking pictures of their adventure.
“That’s when you know you’re famous, when you have paparazzi following you around,” Ellen said.
Disneyland Video: Sophia Grace & Rosie
Ellen showed the video that Sophia Grace and Rosie made on their Disneyland visit. There were indeed fans who recognized the girls and took pictures with them.
Sophia Grace adamantly refused to go on the Ferris Wheel, because it was spinning. The girls went crazy for Ariel’s Grotto restaurant, where they met the real Ariel from The Little Mermaid.
Sophia Grace & Rosie Meet Ariel
Rosie discussed fashion with Ariel during their encounter. “I’ve actually got a costume of that,” Rosie said.
“Did Cinderella’s Fairy Godmother make it for you?” Ariel asked.
“No,” Rosie replied. “We bought them.”
Ellen: Little Mermaid Ride
The girls even showed their trip through the Little Mermaid ride, as well as their wandering around the park. They did get a little overheated walking around, and compared notes on the juiciest apples with Snow White, who advised them not to take anything from her stepmother.
Of course, Sophia Grace and Rosie found their favorite snack, cotton candy. They also got princess makeovers at the park. The girls loved their princess makeovers. Is there anything you can’t do at Disney?
Sophia Grace & Rosie Carriage Ride
“I loved it, but it was too short,” Sophia Grace concluded. But there was one more surprise for them at the end of the day.
Cinderella’s Fairy Godmother herself escorted the girls to the famous horse and carriage, which they rode into the sunset. “We feel like princesses,” the girls announced.
Ellen: Leap Day Disney Open 24 Hours
Ellen said that the Magic Kingdom and Disneyland will be open for a solid 24 hours to celebrate Leap Day on February 29 2012.
