Ellen: Shutterfly Kick In The Kindness Week

Ellen teamed up with Shutterfly for Kick In The Kindness week. All week she is bringing happiness and help to her fans in their homes.

Today Ellen surprised Heather and her daughter Riley. Heather took in her sister’s daughter and since then they’ve been living on a stricter budget. She got a special call from Ellen and her kids were screaming in the background with excitement. Heather wrote in to Ellen about her daughter’s love of Justin Bieber. Ellen gifted them three tickets to Bieber’s Believe Tour and a new camera so they can remember the night. Riley started crying and curled up in a ball on the floor.

Ellen: Kathie Lee & Hoda Mardi Gras

Ellen said she loves the Today Show and wanted to put on a second hour of Ellen today. She pulled out a special desk with big glasses of wine. To get her special co-hosts to join her she yelled, “I have wine!”

Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb came out of the wings and skipped to the table. While Kathie Lee and Hoda have wine every day of the week, Ellen broke out two big glasses for a Two-For-Tuesday. Then she pulled out some daiquiris as Mardi Gras chasers.

Kathie Lee chugged her first glass of wine like a champ. Hoda wasn’t as fond of Ellen’s vintage. They tried to make the few minutes of Ellen’s second hour as much like their show as possible. They did an ambush makeover with one of Ellen’s camera men and gave him a copy of Kathie Lee’s gospel CD.

Ellen gave the ladies special wine box hats to help them get their fix faster. She apologized for not having time for the news, but Kathie Lee laughed, “We’ve been on the air nearly five years and we’ve still not got to the news.”
