Ellen: Kate Hudson Interview
Kate Hudson is an Academy Award-nominated actress that is singing and dancing her way on Glee this season. Ellen sat down with Kate and discussed her sons, her mom Goldie Hawn and fiance Matt Bellamy.
Kate Hudson: New Son Bingham
The last time Kate was on Ellen, she was pregnant and Kate thought for sure it would be a girl. Instead, she had a boy named Bingham, which is the name of her grandfather and her fiance’s Mom’s maiden name is Bingham, so she said it just made sense.
Ellen: Kate Hudson Fiance Matthew Bellamy
Kate Hudson’s fiancé is Matthew Bellamy, who is the lead singer of Muse. Ellen said they are a great band and loves them and will continue to say it until she gets them on the show. Kate said they are great.
Kate Hudson: Sons Ryder and Bingham
Kate said that Bingham is 14 months now and he is a feisty mover. Kate said he went from taking a couple steps to sprinting. She said he started walking at his year birthday and two days after her started walking he started dribbling a soccer ball. She said now she has her roller skates on and he is just running into everything. Ryder, her other son, is eight years old now.
Kate Hudson: Working Out Five Hours A Day?
Ellen said there were rumors going around that Kate was working out five hours a day after having Bingham. Kate said she heard those rumors too and that is the craziest thing she has ever heard. She said not even the greatest athletes in the world work out that long in a day. She said she dances, spins and does yoga and she is always active. She goes to kickboxing with Ryder.
Ellen: Why The Kate Hudson Delivery Room Was Like A Woody Allen Movie
Kate said the whole pregnancy was different with Bingham. She had a C-section with Ryder and she had a V-back with Bingham, which is a vaginal birth after a C-section, so she had a natural birth with him and it was like a Woody Allen film. Her Mom, Goldie Hawn, and Matt were in there with her. Her Mom brought in a pizza and Doritos with her and then is wearing reading glasses with flashlights on them. It was 18 hours of labor and 4 ½ hours of pushing. She said it is just one of those things you can’t describe unless you have experienced it.
